Incredible Week of Teen Camp!

July 24, 2019

The EEMN Púchov region Life and Adventure Teen Camp began on Saturday afternoon, 13 July and ended with a celebration BBQ in the Púchov church yard, on the following Thursday evening. 28 youth participated in the camp week (not all pictured), along with adult team leaders from Slovakia, Germany, Switzerland, and the U.S.

The camp theme was Relationships and what it means to have healthy relationships with Family and Friends, in Dating and Marriage, and with God. An EEMN teen camp looks similar to a confirmation-style camp in the States, where many different activities are combined with group worship/teaching sessions and small group discussions. We enjoyed a lot of outdoor games, tie-dyed T-shirts, had a water day, gathered around the campfire, hiked to Kohutka mountain resort and restaurant on the Slovakia/Czechia border, and watched the thought provoking movie, Let There Be Light. All-in-all, everyone had a great time while we learned and shared a lot about walking with the Lord, through the different relationships in our lives.

At the end of the camp week, our team joined with the EEMN English Bible Camp team in exploring Vienna, Austria and for some recharge time, before returning home.
