Today was our final day of English Bible Camp in Ružomberok, Slovakia. he students did a wonderful job presenting their skits. Group A led by teacher Rachel did a song about Moses using the tune to “Bingo was his name-o”.

Group B led by teacher Rae did a skit about God sending Moses to Egypt and the Ten plagues that followed after Pharaoh wouldn’t let God’s people go until the last plague happened. Group C lead by teacher Vic, did a skit of Moses receiving the Ten Commandments. All the kids did a great job and teachers and students enjoyed the program greatly!

The program closed out with Pastor DMC and the kids doing a mini concert with the songs they learned during the week at camp. We closed the program with the DMC version of Jesus Loves Me which had students, teachers, parents and grandparents clapping their hands and stomping their feet and shouting for joy!

Of course the hard part was having to say goodbye to our new friends. Hugs, hand shakes, and blessings were exchanged and a hope for next year to enjoy more time together was expressed. Pastor Daniel had positive feedback from both the students and parents and they are already thinking about having us return next year!!

Some of us did last minute shopping in Ružomberok for souvenirs and gifts to bring back. We loaded the bus for Vienna, Austria (after a quick last ice cream cone with a vendor we befriended!) and we joined our other friends from SONetwork who also just finished another English Bible Camp in a different location. We look forward to a few days of sightseeing and relaxing, and debrief about the camps.
