Thanks be to God for a safe journey. Everyone arrived on time, and all our luggage was with us! Thank YOU for your faithfulness and prayers. You have each, in your own way, participated in Send One. So many have been generous with well wishes, donated camp supplies, prayer, and money to make this trip possible. You have partnered with the Lord Jesus and with this team to connect spiritual orphans to the global family of Christ.

That’s central to what we do at the Spiritual Orphans Network, and these two weeks at English Language Bible camp will serve that end.

Please continue to pray for us. We need encouragement for:

• Continued good health for all team members.
• Courage to step into what the Lord has planned, not only for the team, but also for those we serve at camp.
• Opportunities to witness to the hope we have in Christ.

We will spend this weekend:

• Completing team training.
• Jumping in with both feet when cultural opportunities present themselves.
• Worshipping with a local Lutheran church (even though we won’t understand all that is said or what is happening).
• Adjusting to jet lag (one couple are here from nine time zones away).
• Getting to know one another, in some cases, for the first time in person (our team hails from New Mexico, Texas, and Missouri).
